Shaft 2A was found in Season 12 during the Shaft 2 excavation, 17 feet from where Shaft 2 was expected. Its wall measured 116 inches, it resembled Shaft 2, and it was packed with fill. In Season 13 its wood gave the highest silver reading of fifteen wood samples tested.
