Drilled 2017 by Lagina team, 200 ft
Named after George and Ann Lagina, GAL-1 was the fourth and final Money Pit caisson of Season 4, placed on Greg Dwyer's debris-field analysis and chosen by Rick Lagina. It yielded pitch-coated wood near 150 feet and metal plate at about 154 feet before stalling at 160 feet. In Season 5 it served as the center point of the Geotech drilling grid.
