Season 9 borehole eight feet west of C-1 in the C-1 Cluster. It hit planked wood near 88.5 ft dated 1488 to 1650 and a small metal piece at about 90 ft carrying gold, which Dr. Christa Brosseau compared to rose gold. The team chose it as the site of the first ten-foot caisson, TF1.
