About This Artifact

Pointed piece of wood pulled from the swamp by Billy Gerhardt, identified by Gary Drayton as a ship's pin. The find came from the same area where numerous pieces of possible ship components have been found, including a ship's railing carbon dated to 660-770 AD. The War Room consensus supported identification as a probable ship component.
