About This Artifact

Carved piece of wood discovered by Scott Barlow in the swamp that archaeologist Laird Niven said he had never seen before. Charles Barkhouse suggested it could be part of a tool like the T-square recovered earlier in the swamp that was dated to 1632 to 1668. Tom Nolan noted signs of rope burn on the piece, and Marty observed the wood was already dry and could be a very dense species.
