Found 30 Oct 1965 while trenching: dome-topped shaft about 7 to 8 ft wide, 12 ft below the surface, pick marks on the walls. Dug to 54 ft (1965) and 90 ft (1966). Blankenship's profile: void 12 to 15.5, water to 23, puddled clay 65 to 77, stinking muck 77 to 85, round granite stones 85 to 90, bottom about 15 by 15 ft.
