Large-diameter hole, Aug to Oct 1977, casing advanced with the bit. Wood almost continuously to 171 ft (from original grade); tight blue and brown clay like the Becker samples; disturbed to 185 to 190; soft bedrock, then hard at about 197; ended at 206. A cut piece of wood about 2 x 4 x 18 in with pink dye came from about 150.
